Just a short 20-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, this amazing hostel is a sure-fire favorite that we recommend to solo travelers that appreciate calm and quiet while also being in the center of the action.
Although 3 Ducks is a little pricier than the other hostels mentioned here (starting at 31 euros a night), the stay is great for its unique mix of favorable amenities. Visitors enjoy a free breakfast daily with their stay, as well as multiple indoor and outdoor areas to drink, read a book, or meet new people. The vibe of the main courtyard is as Parisian as it gets and is an ideal place to enjoy Parisian city life without the hustle and bustle.

5. Enjoy Hostel
A little further outside of the more traveled neighborhoods, Enjoy Hostel is great for anyone who would like to avoid the touristy areas and feel a bit more like a local. (We included this hostel on our list because we feel that everyone should experience the residential areas of Paris to really understand what makes the city tick).
A stay at this location is just right for true Francophiles, and we’d recommend settling into a routine of making trips to the local grocers, bars, and restaurants a daily action item.
Parisians are sometimes (unfairly) said to have a bad reputation, but getting into a rhythm with the people who actually live in Paris will make you feel right at home with the customs and culture.
Starting at 24 euros a night, this is a great option for anyone who wants to see a different side of Paris that the postcards often miss. And trust us, you won’t regret the slightly longer Metro ride for the overall appeal of this great hostel.
